To initiate and inculcate students an understanding of individual, social and civic responsibility in relation to society in the context of national heritage and sustainable building technology.

Educational Policy
To adequately prepare students to fulfill  their professional obligations in co-operation with other ancillary professionals and communicate their ideas to built reality.  In order to do this, students need to develop critical and aesthetic judgment and should knowledge of core subjects such as architectural design, appreciation of the affiliated disciplines of the socio economic realities of urban / rural/environmental design, landscape and built environment,  In this regard, it may well prepare students to future opportunities in interactive media, graphic, interior and industrial design, architectural conservation, sustainable design or even disaster management.

To introduce positive linkages between academic activity and professional environment with ‘live’ projects, than restrict work to academic pursuits. In effect, theoretical disciplines need to be translated to productiveactivity, while offering students a palette of opportunities to explore, pursue and realize their true potential, under the wide umbrella of architectural education.

To train architecture students to become professionals of intefrity & entrepreneurship education.

The B.Arch course is intended to be introduced as the solitary course at the inception of the college,  Its initial emphasis would be to establish a centre of architectural education that is fairly independent and self-directed in its functioning, without being influenced by the policies of other engineering disciplines as the case would be generally be in various campuses.  The pedagogical approach would be oriented towards the training of students to be molded into professional architects who can serve the needs of both urban and rural India. They should also be capable of contributing in a positive manner to meeting the challenges facing society in the new century and able to work towards sustainable development in consideration with the global context.
